Development
A Slow Site Sends Buyers Away.
We Build Ones That Make Them Stay.
Not just code that works. Sites and apps that actually convert.
What You Need to Know
Before You Build
Most websites are built to impress stakeholders, not to serve customers. They look polished in a deck, survive the first month, and quietly stop performing because no one designed them to continue beyond the launch date. Web development is an engineering discipline with a business outcome: a site that ships on schedule, loads fast, converts visitors, and keeps getting better after go-live.
DOTMARQ exists to remove that pattern. We build production-grade websites on React, Next.js, WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, and Laravel for tech startups and enterprise brands across the US, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
One integrated pod handles strategy, design, content, and engineering, so nothing breaks in the handoff between disciplines. You get senior engineering on every line, AI-accelerated production with disclosed human review, and a team that stays long after launch. That is the entire promise.
Our Web Development Services
Our web development services cover every stage of your product, brand, or business.
Custom Website
We design and build bespoke websites from scratch, written in production-grade code rather than assembled from generic themes. Every page is engineered for performance, search visibility, and conversion, with semantic HTML, modular components, and a maintainable architecture your team can extend safely.
E-commerce Website
We build storefronts on Shopify, Shopify Plus, and WooCommerce, and move to headless commerce with Hydrogen or Next.js when subscription logic, B2B pricing, or composable storefronts justify the investment. PCI compliance, payment orchestration, and abandoned-cart recovery are standard.
CMS Website
We work with WordPress, Joomla, Laravel, Webflow, and to give your marketing team genuine publishing autonomy. Editor-first schemas, reusable content blocks, and recorded Loom training mean your team ships new pages without filing a developer ticket.
Web Application
For SaaS dashboards, admin tools, internal platforms, and multi-tenant applications, we use Next.js full-stack and Laravel with proper authentication, role-based access control, and scalable database design. The architecture carries your product through growth, not just demo day.
Landing Page Design
Conversion-focused single-page builds and complete marketing sites on Webflow or Next.js, optimised for speed, SEO, and A/B testing readiness. Each page is structured to drive the action that matters most.
Website Migration
We rebuild dated sites without losing SEO rankings. URLs are audited, 301 redirects mapped, metadata and schema preserved, and a parallel crawl staged in Search Console before launch.
Our Web Development Process
Every project moves through five clearly defined phases, with named deliverables at the end of each. Preview deployments from day one means you see the work every week.
Week 1-2
Discovery and Architecture
We run stakeholder interviews, conduct a content inventory, define conversion goals, and agree on a written performance budget. You receive a Discovery Brief, a sitemap in Figma, and a tech recommendation with reasoning behind every choice.
Week 2-4
Design System and Key Pages
We move through wireframes, then mid-fidelity, then high-fidelity in three reviewable rounds with consolidated 48-hour feedback. We design in components, not pages. You receive design tokens, a component library, and key user flows clickable in Figma.
Week 3-8
Engineering (Parallel to Design)
Build begins during design week one via preview deploys. Trunk-based development, pull-request reviews, automated tests, and accessibility checks all run in CI. Performance budgets are enforced by the pipeline, not promised in a kickoff slide.
Week 7-9
QA, SEO, and Accessibility
We run a cross-browser and 8-device test matrix, a WCAG 2.2 AA audit without overlay widgets, a Lighthouse gate of 95-plus, a redirect map, and schema markup. The build does not move past this phase until every gate passes.
Week 9 (Onward)
Launch and 30-Day Warranty
Core Web Vitals monitoring, Search Console parity checks, Loom training for your editors, and a runbook handed over on launch day. We watch the metrics for 30 days, so you do not have to.
Why Choose DOTMARQ for Web Development
Three commitments shape every project we run.
One Senior Pod, No Relay
A strategist, designer, senior engineer, and QA work in one shared channel from day one. The engineer leading your build also writes roughly 60 percent of the code and reviews 100 percent. We do not subcontract without your written sign-off, and we never bait-and-switch to juniors after sign-off.
AI-Accelerated Production, Human-Reviewed Craft
We use Cursor, Claude Code, and Copilot to compress the parts of every build that do not require craft, including scaffolding, tests, content migration, and repetitive component variants. Every line is reviewed by a senior engineer before merging. The compression runs 30 to 40 percent, passed back to you as shorter timelines or richer scope. AI usage is disclosed in the handover document. Your code never trains external models.
Launch Is Version One, Not the Finish Line
Every project ships with a 30-day bug-fix warranty on defects we introduced. After that, keep the team on a monthly Care Plan or take the keys and walk. You own 100 percent of the code, designs, and CMS access from the first commit. No lock-in, no exit fees, no silence after invoice four.
Technologies We Use
We choose tools based on what the website has to do, not by what is trendy. We will actively recommend against a stack that is overkill for your brief, even when we love it.
We use Next.js with a headless CMS such as Sanity, Storyblok, or Payload when performance, SEO, and content velocity all matter at once. Webflow is our pick when the marketing team needs to ship pages without filing a developer ticket. WordPress remains the right answer when content scale and editor familiarity outrank everything else, and properly tuned, it still competes on Core Web Vitals.
Shopify and Shopify Plus power our commerce builds, moving to headless with Hydrogen only when subscription logic, B2B pricing, or composable storefronts justify it. Laravel handles the backend when the work is real, including admin tools, multi-tenant SaaS, payment orchestration, and custom CRMs. For integrations, we work with HubSpot, Salesforce, Stripe, GA4, PostHog, Klaviyo, Segment, and the rest of the modern marketing and data stack.
What You Own When We Finish
The deliverables are listed in the contract, not implied. You receive the production codebase pushed to your GitHub or GitLab from the first commit, the component library and design tokens in Figma with code parity, the CMS schema, editor documentation, and a recorded Loom training, plus performance, accessibility, and SEO audit reports.
The 30-day bug-fix warranty on defects we introduced is included automatically. An optional Care Plan retainer covers ongoing development, performance monitoring, CRO, and content updates. The team that built it is the team that maintains it.

Frequently Asked Questions
You’ve got the questions, we’ve got the answers.
How long does it take to build a website?
Marketing sites on Next.js or Webflow ship in 6 to 8 weeks. Mid-complexity WordPress or Shopify builds take 8 to 12 weeks. Custom Laravel platforms or headless commerce builds run 12 to 20 weeks. A weekly-updated Gantt is published at kickoff.
How much does a website cost with DOTMARQ?
The overall cost of your project primarily depends on its size and features. Additionally, the choice of programming language, platform, or content management system (CMS) can also affect the price. We recommend reaching out to our expert team to schedule a demo for more information.
Who owns the code, designs, and assets?
You own 100 percent from the first commit. The MSA includes work-for-hire and full IP assignment. We push to your GitHub or GitLab from day one, with no hostage situations and no exit fees.
Do you handle post-launch support, and what is your SLA?
Every project includes a 30-day bug-fix warranty. After that, Standard Care Plans guarantee a 48-hour response, and Priority Care Plans guarantee a 4-hour response plus a monthly performance audit.
Which technology should we use for our website?
We choose by use case. Editor-managed marketing site, Webflow or WordPress. SEO-critical content site, Next.js with a headless CMS. DTC commerce, Shopify. Multi-tenant SaaS or complex backend, Laravel or Next.js full-stack.
What if we do not like the design? How many revisions are included?
Three reviewable rounds: low-fidelity, mid-fidelity with one revision, and high-fidelity with two revisions. Feedback is consolidated within 48 hours. If alignment is missing after round three, we reopen the strategy at no cost.
Do you handle SEO, structured data, and Core Web Vitals?
Technical SEO is built in: semantic HTML, schema for Organisation, Service, FAQPage, BreadcrumbList, an XML sitemap, 95-plus Lighthouse, and Core Web Vitals in green for LCP, INP, and CLS. Content SEO is separate.
How are you different from other web development agencies?
We are a production partner, not a creative-wizard shop. One integrated pod, no handoff overhead, AI-assisted velocity with senior review, Dhaka cost structure, US and EU delivery rigour.
Can you redesign an existing site without losing SEO rankings?
Yes. Redirect mapping and rank preservation are non-negotiable. We audit URLs, map 301s, preserve metadata and schema, and stage a parallel crawl in Search Console before launch.
Can you work with our existing developer or designer?
Yes. About a third of our work is team augmentation. We embed inside your Linear, Jira, Figma, and GitHub workflows and adapt to your process.
Do you handle hosting?
We recommend hosting rather than reselling it. Vercel for Next.js, Webflow Hosting for Webflow, WP Engine or Kinsta for WordPress, Laravel Cloud or AWS for Laravel. Set up in your account, keys handed to you.
How do you handle content migration from our old site?
Scripted bulk migration where the source supports it, manual plus spot-check for sites under 100 pages. URL structures are preserved, redirects audited, and alt text and metadata validated.
Do you build e-commerce on Shopify or with a custom checkout?
We default to Shopify or Shopify Plus for speed and PCI compliance. We move to custom Laravel-plus-Stripe or headless Shopify with Hydrogen only when subscription logic, B2B pricing, or marketplace mechanics justify it.
How do you handle security, GDPR, and data protection?
OWASP Top 10 review on every backend, Snyk and Dependabot in CI, GDPR and CCPA cookie consent, DPA on request, and EU data residency on partner hosting. Third-party penetration testing available for enterprise work.
Is the site WCAG-compliant and accessible?
WCAG 2.2 AA by default, including semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, focus states, alt text, contrast, ARIA where needed, and a screen-reader pass. AAA on request. We do not use accessibility overlay widgets.
What is your payment schedule and contract structure?
Thirty percent on signature, 30 percent on design approval, 30 percent on development complete, and 10 percent on launch and warranty. MSA plus per-project SOW, with a mutual NDA before discovery. Wire, ACH, Wise, and Stripe Invoice accepted.
